With a focus in soft pastel, oil, and watercolor, I aim to create pieces that highlight my Creator's nature; I want to create pieces that point back to the Lord’s faithfulness, beauty, and provision. After receiving a Studio Art Degree from Mississippi College, I returned to my home studio north of Birmingham, Alabama where I run Emma Knowles Fine Art and teach ceramics, adult watercolor and teen multi-media classes at Samford’s Academy of the Arts.

I consistently draw inspiration from the natural world, depicting Alabama and Southern landscapes, native fauna, meaningful sights from my own travels, and personal memories through custom commissions. 

I pray my work will glorify the creator of all things.
